Matt understands people and focuses on getting results. Matt grew up in a Canadian Forces family and then went on to briefly serve himself before completing his legal education at Western Law in 2014. Since then, Matt has run his own firm, served as a Crown Prosecutor, and served in house for a major Alberta non-profit. In January, 2023, Matt returned to his roots in private practice with Roszler Ellis-Toddington in Calgary, Alberta with a focus on criminal defense, matrimonial law, and civil litigation.
Matt’s blend of work and life experience has served his clients well. Whether you’re meeting in a board room, in Court, or over coffee, Matt puts the focus where it belongs—on you. Every individual has their own unique hopes and dreams. Matt knows it’s his job to help you get the best possible result, no matter how big the challenge.
Matt is new to Calgary and loving all the city has to offer, from the stunning mountain views to a vibrant community full of music, sports, and food. Matt remains shamelessly addicted to Tim Hortons and is always looking to add to his ever-growing wrestling action figure collection. In recent years, Matt has renewed his focus on fitness and is looking forward to getting engaged again with recreational boxing. Matt is also looking for new opportunities in the volunteer sector while growing his Calgary law practice. The future is bright.
If you’re looking for help, Matt is accepting new clients and is happy to take your call.
